U.S. State of the State transcripts

Usually held at the beginning of each year, U.S. governors give a public speech where they talk about the situation of their state. Frequency of the speech varies from state to state, as it is sometimes held every two year, or ‘from time to time’. They can be supported by an inauguration speech after an election year, or a state of the budget speech. This database contains 1200 transcripts, for all states, between 1995 and 2020.

Dataset, metadata and raw files can be found on my GitHub repository.

Some statistics will follow.
